ECHO

Nautilus is an events-entry and participant-management system currently under development for support of Geisel’s local implementation of the Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) program, led by Margaret Karagas, PhD.
Purpose
When complete, Nautilus will allow the ECHO study staff to effectively manage a large cohort of mothers and children throughout a many-year, longitudinal study which will track the influence of environmental factors in children’s health. The system will allow: recording and retrieving data on interactions between participants and study staff; tracking samples as they move from collection through processing; reporting study metrics; and providing data sets to researchers.
